Certified Fishing Charters

The National School of Fishings sole purpose and mission is to offer anglers the opportunity for continuing angler education within an educational format designed to give anglers the information they desire to assist them in becoming more successful fisherman.

As a result, the NSOF promotes Certified Fishing Charters who offer NSOF instruction. As a result of this type of education, anglers now have the tools and information necessary to be a more knowledgeable and versatile anglers, giving credit to the School and its Partners.

For their support, dedication and desire for continuing angler education, we would like to recognize our Certified Fishing Charters and encourage our faithful viewers, students and followers to do the same.

The Manistee River is host to huge runs of Salmon and Steelhead every year.

Fish from the "World famous Port of Manistee" for Trophy King Salmon or Lunker Brown Trout Manistee is the place to be... Captain Jay is always on top of the action, an innovator and one of the first to discover the deep water trolling of Lake Michigan taking Salmon at depths of 400'+. Only a few have managed to figure out this deep water trolling, and Capt. Jay is one of the best.
